Description
Carolina Allergy and Asthma Consultants is a busy private practice with three locations in the Midlands of South Carolina that is managed by two full time physicians and one nurse practitioner. We are looking to hire a full time physician, and we would consider a graduating allergy fellow or an experienced allergist that is looking for a new opportunity. Columbia is the capital city of South Carolina, and is home to the University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson, Riverbanks Zoo, Lake Murray and multiple thriving neighborhoods with great night life. Due to the growing population in our area, we have a diverse payor base and a strong referral network. Our physicians work an average of four days a week, and rotate between our three centrally located offices. Requirements
Seeing new and follow up patients, interpreting spirometry results, skin tests and patch tests, writing immunotherapy prescriptions, managing oral food challenges and drug challenges, and taking overnight and weekend call (telephone call only).
